FuelFilm:Memphis launches the 2012 Season with a public screening of the locally-relevant documentary film, Cafeteria Man, at Malco’s Studio on the Square on Saturday, January 21 at 4:00 pm.  Directed, Co-Produced and filmed by Richard Chisolm, “Cafeteria Man” chronicles the herculean (and controversial) efforts of Chef Anthony “Tony” Geraci in his quest to bring healthy lunches to inner-city children within the Baltimore City Schools.  A panel discussion following the film provides the forum for knowledgeable, relevant questions and answers for the program being implemented in Memphis.  Geraci and Chisolm, will be in attendance.  Local high school youth from BRIDGES will also join the panel to share their opinions and highlight how youth can participate in the effort to transform school food.
